Bill McMillan's Pistol

Presented by the NRA National Firearms Museum

This pistol was used by Lt. Col. William McMillan, United States Marine Corps, in winning the Gold Medal in Rapid Fire Pistol during the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, Italy. His 587 of a possible 600 score secured the only Gold Medal won by the U.S. in the shooting sports during that Olympiad. The McMillan Pistol can be seen at the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia.

This pistol was used by Lt. Col. McMillan in winning the Gold Medal during the 1960 Olympic Games.
