David Keene: Second Amendment Represents an America the Left Doesn't Like

NRA President Sits Down With One America News

In discussing the nation's debate over gun control legislation, NRA President David Keene notes that after the Sandy Hook tragedy, "the question that [gun-control supporters] asked … was what do we do about guns? That's not the question that the American people want answered."Keene said that, "The question the American people want answered is how do we prevent these kinds of tragedies? How do we protect our children?" He went on to add that the self-reliance of the Second Amendment represents an America that the left resents. “It has come to symbolize an America in which people rely on themselves.”

Keene says the question isn't what to do about guns; its how to protect our children.
