This double-action revolver was nicknamed "Victory" as the serial numbers for this model all began with a "V" prefix. The Victory Model was built during World War II and discontinued in 1945. The Smith & Wesson Victory Revolver can be seen at the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia.
